About this role
Properly identifies patient, draws blood samples and sends to laboratory for analysis. The Phlebotomist maintains records of tests performed and blood samples taken and may perform waived or moderate complex tests in laboratory setting.
- High School or equivalent
- May require Louisiana License as Medical Lab Assistant by LSBME within one year of employment if performing waived or moderate complex testing duties.
