About this role
Description
Lead a frontline team inside one of Amazon's most advanced robotics fulfillment centers.
As an Area Manager at our Tracy, CA site (OAK4), you own a shift and a team — you'll directly shape how millions of customer orders move safely, accurately, and on time. This isn't a desk job; it's a leadership proving ground where your decisions have same-day impact and your team looks to you to set the tone.
Our Operations network delivers for Amazon customers every day across three major workflows: First Mile (where product is housed and ready for order), Middle Mile (where the order is hauled to your area), and Last Mile (when the product is delivered to the customer's door). All workflows have slight building variations, but one thing is constant: our dedication to the customer.
What you'll gain
You'll run a shift inside one of Amazon's most advanced robotics (AR) sortable fulfillment centers — a high-tech operation where your team works alongside automation to move products at scale. This is hands-on experience you can't get just anywhere: leading people in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment, driving process improvement, and building operational expertise that's valued across the industry. You'll sharpen skills in people leadership, data-driven decision-making, safety and quality management, and continuous improvement.
