About this role

Your Role

As Cash Receiving Supervisor, you will lead a team responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of incoming payments and cash receipts. You will oversee cash handling, reconciliation, deposit operations, and related controls that support the organization's liquidity, financial reporting, and operational effectiveness.

Your leadership will help ensure strong internal controls, efficient cash flow management, audit readiness, and the safeguarding of company assets.

In addition to day-to-day operations, you will drive workforce planning, productivity management, process improvement, and automation initiatives to enhance service levels, reduce operational risk, and improve efficiency.

You will partner with stakeholders across Finance, Accounts Payable, Customer Service, Treasury, and Operations to resolve issues, support business objectives, and deliver measurable results.

Your Knowledge and Experience

- Requires Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field highly preferred

- Requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

- Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience operating in a lead role or equivalent leadership training or manager training

- Strong accounting, financial operations, and cash management background

- Experience managing cash receipt processing, banking operations, lockbox, treasury, payment processing, or related functions

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access

- Experience developing dashboards, productivity metrics, KPIs, and operational reporting

- Ability to analyze financial and operational data and provide actionable recommendations

- Knowledge of internal controls, audit requirements, compliance standards, and risk management practices

- Demonstrated ability to plan ahead, identify operational and compliance risks, and implement mitigation strategies

- Experience leading process improvement, automation, or system enhancement initiatives

- Strong communication, organizational, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

- Experience hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining high-performing teams

Hybrid

This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week. Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
