About this role

Standard Job Description

Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar Engineering Degree.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma deployment methodologies.
• Exposure to work measurement techniques in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of capacity analysis to determine and optimize facility layouts.
• Due to facility requirements, the selected candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Familiarity in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for designing and analyzing manufacturing systems.
• Familiarity with applying Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process optimization.
• Familiarity in using simulation software (e.g., Arena, Simul8, FlexSim, SIMIO) to model, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $58200.00 - $108200.00
