Job Title: HR Coordinator                                                                             FLSA Status: Salaried, Exempt

Location: Boise, ID (onsite)                                                                         Reports To:  HR Director

About Your Role

This role supports the daily HR operations for a fast-growing start-up organization. The HR Coordinator leads recruiting and onboarding, assists with benefits, HRIS administration, employee relations, and company event logistics. This position requires strong independent judgment, high-level of accuracy, with the opportunity to make an impact on one of the Best Places to Work in Idaho!

What You’ll Do

- Talent Acquisition

Responsible for managing the recruiting pipeline tasks, including conducting phone screens, coordinating interviews, and updating job statuses.

- Draft job descriptions and post job openings to Indeed, LinkedIn, and internal HRIS platforms.

- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including offer letters, paperwork, payroll setup, and first week expectations.

- HRIS & Systems

Serve as go-to person for company-wide HRIS experience (BambooHR), including configuring workflows, onboarding sequences, task lists, access levels, and reporting.

- Manage and maintain forms, surveys, and internal documentation for HR (eg- I-9 verification & background checks) and company-wide use.

- Benefits & Compensation

Assist with compensation and benefit documentation, enrollment, and answering employee questions.

- Support benefit audits and open enrollment activities.

- Employee Relations

Address employee inquiries, support conflict resolution, and help maintain high workplace morale.

- Interpret and help communicate company policies to employees and managers.

- Other Responsibilities

Write and update HR policies on request.

- Coordinate large company events including the annual summit and holiday party.

- Manage employee swag ordering and delivery.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in HR Management or related field required. HR certification (or working towards one) preferred.

- 2-3 years of progressive HR experience required. Combination of experience and education may be considered.

- Experience with HRIS administration (BambooHR preferred).

- 1 year of recruiting coordination experience required.

- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- High level of discretion, judgment, and professionalism
