Job Summary
Position: Forklift Driver
Pay Rate: $21.00 / hour
Operating Hours: 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Equipment & Safe Operation: Safely maneuver forklifts in busy industrial environments, conduct regular checks for faults or damage, and keep driving areas free of spills and hazards.
Loading & Unloading: Unload incoming deliveries, safely relocate goods to designated storage areas, and move products to loading zones for transport.
Storage & Inventory: Stack/unstack large quantities of goods on shelves or pallets, consolidate partial pallets, and assist with inventory tracking.
Packaging: Use industrial plastic wrap and wooden pallets to securely stack and package goods for shipment.
Safety & Compliance: Report damages, shortages, or quality deficiencies. Adhere strictly to EBL storage procedures, trailer load-out processes, the EBL TDR Policy, and company safety guidelines.
Role Requirements
Forklift Operator
Knowledge of EBL storage procedures (e.g., proper pallet stacking) and trailer load-out processes.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to itemize and record inventory accurate details.
Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment.
Physical Demands
Regular sitting, standing, walking, and reaching with hands/arms.
Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing 50 lbs .
Comfortable working near moving mechanical parts in a loud work environment.
Dress Code & Safety Guidelines
To ensure safety and protect product quality, all candidates must adhere to the following dress code:
Pants: Full-length jeans (no shorts or sagging pants).
Shirts: T-shirts must cover the arms—no exposed skin above the elbow or neck.
Footwear: Closed-toe shoes required (steel-toe is not required).
Jewelry & Fragrances: No jewelry on the hands, neck, or face. No perfume or cologne (to prevent product contamination).
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $21.00
