The Decision Advantage Business Area within Defense at Leidos is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Systems Enginee r to join our Distributed Common Ground System – Navy ( DCGS-N ) team. In this role, you’ll support the Joint Concentrator Architecture (JCA), DCGS-N Enterprise Node (DEN), and DAS (DCGS-N Ashore System) at the National Maritime Intelligence Center (NMIC) in Suitland, MD. You’ll be part of a mission-driven team responsible for designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining advanced network systems that support U.S. Navy intelligence operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, evaluate, recommend, implement, and document JCA/DEN/DAS network architecture.

- Maintain compliance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) guidelines and Security Technical Information Guides (STIG) requirements.

- Ensure system readiness to meet all customer mission requirements.

- Provide expert support through deep investigations to find root cause of network and system failures or outages related to core infrastructure, cloud platforms, and advanced networking configurations).

- Perform system maintenance including patch testing, installation, and information assurance scans with DoW-approved tools.

- Document and recommend improvements to enhance network performance and security.

- Provide fleet support for Orchestration Services, account creation/maintenance, file dissemination troubleshooting.

- Provide GCCS-J end user support to DAS operators onsite and remotely.

- Provide DAS Active Directory user support.

- Maintain and update Jira work items and service desk trouble tickets to ensure accurate tracking, status, and resolution of assigned work, while actively participating in SAFe Agile scrum meetings, planning activities, and team processes.

- Occasionally provide after-hours distance support from the customer site for deployed U.S. Navy DCGS-N platforms.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or information systems with 6+ years of related experience. Additional experience, training, and/or certifications may substitute for degree requirements

- U.S. Citizen; holding an active DoW Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI upon hire.

- Currently possess DoD 8140 IAT-II compliance (Security+, CISSP, or equivalent)

- Technical experience with DISA STIG compliance requirements.

- Proven knowledge of remote monitoring tools like SolarWinds.

- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

- Comfortable working onsite in a large computer room environment.

## Pay Range:
Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
