Job Overview
Ricart Automotive is looking for an energetic and efficient Express Service Technician to join our fast-paced service team! Whether you’re starting your automotive career or looking to grow your skills in a high-volume dealership environment, this role provides hands-on experience, ongoing training, and clear pathways for advancement into main-shop automotive roles.
As an Express Technician, you will be responsible for providing quick, accurate routine maintenance to keep our customers moving safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, filter replacements, and wiper blade installations.
- Conduct thorough multi-point vehicle inspections to identify potential safety or maintenance concerns.
- Check and adjust tire pressure, tread depth, and fluid levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace, adhering to dealership and shop safety standards.
- Operate service equipment, power tools, and lifts safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding additional service recommendations or repairs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge or a strong passion for automotive repair.
- Prior quick-lube or automotive service experience is preferred, but willing to train candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate standard shop equipment and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality service.
- Reliable punctual attendance and a positive team attitude.
