Internship Opportunity
At World Vision International, Global Marketing, Communications & Sponsorship (GMCS) helps connect supporters, partners, communities, and teams around the world with the organization's mission to serve vulnerable children and communities. Within GMCS, the Strategy, Planning and Performance Team helps teams work together effectively by improving planning, collaboration, and delivery across global initiatives.
The Knowledge Management and Community Engagement function supports this work by helping teams find, organize, share, and reuse trusted knowledge. Using tools such as SharePoint and Microsoft 365, the team creates practical digital workplace solutions that make information easier to access, reduce duplication, and strengthen collaboration across a global organization.
As the Digital Workplace Intern, you will play an active role in building and improving digital experiences used by teams around the world. You will help create SharePoint sites, manage content, support reporting tools, and contribute to projects that improve how colleagues collaborate and share knowledge. Through your work, you will support World Vision's commitment to stewardship, collaboration, and service, helping teams work more effectively in support of children and communities worldwide.
What You'll Do:
- Build and Enhance SharePoint Sites and Pages: Create and update SharePoint pages using approved templates, content, and branding standards. You'll configure layouts, navigation, web parts, and page components while ensuring a consistent and user-friendly experience.
- Manage Document Libraries and SharePoint Lists: Support the creation and maintenance of document libraries and SharePoint Lists that help teams organize information and track work. You'll help configure metadata, columns, views, permissions, and other features that improve information management.
- Organize and Migrate Digital Content: Review, categorize, and migrate files into clear and consistent structures. You'll help improve file organization, naming standards, content placement, and link management so global teams can find information more easily.
- Conduct Quality Assurance and Testing: Test pages, permissions, links, layouts, and configurations before publication. You'll identify issues, document findings, recommend improvements, and help ensure solutions are accurate and ready for use.
- Support Project Tracking and Coordination: Maintain project trackers, action logs, and status updates across multiple initiatives. You'll help keep projects organized, follow up on assigned tasks, and provide concise progress updates to stakeholders.
- Contribute to Reporting and Insights: Assist with maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting tools. Depending on project needs, you may help verify data, update information, and improve how insights are presented to decision-makers.
- Explore Digital Workplace Improvements: Support ongoing enhancements across Microsoft 365 platforms. This may include exposure to Power Automate, Power Apps, accessibility practices, content design, user experience improvements, and knowledge management initiatives.
- Collaborate Across Global Teams: Work alongside colleagues from marketing, communications, sponsorship, and support functions around the world. You'll contribute to real business solutions that are actively used by teams across World Vision.
Why Join Us:

- Strengthen Professional and Project Management Skills: Through managing priorities, gathering requirements, solving problems, and communicating with stakeholders, you'll build confidence and develop skills that support long-term career success.
- Explore Emerging Technology and Innovation: Depending on your interests and project assignments, you may gain exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, accessibility practices, user experience design, content strategy, and digital workplace innovation.
