We are seeking casual QRT/Security Guard for the CALGARY area.

Hours are not guaranteed initially; however, there is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to transition into a full-time position in the near future.

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Respond to calls on short notice to cover open shifts as operationally required.
- Observe and report all activities and incidents at assigned client sites, ensuring the security and safety of property, assets, and personnel.
- Conduct regular patrols to identify irregularities and inspect security systems, protective devices, and fire safety equipment.
- Maintain order and enforce site regulations, directives, and procedures related to personnel, visitors, and premises.
- Control access to client sites and facilities by following established access control procedures.
- Patrol assigned areas on foot and/or in a vehicle, checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security breaches, blocked exits, mechanical issues, and unauthorized individuals.
- Provide excellent customer service while ensuring the protection of client property, assets, and personnel.
- Monitor intrusion detection systems using alarm monitoring and video surveillance software.
- Utilize computer systems and software to monitor sites, complete reports and documentation, and participate in required training programs.
- Protect evidence and secure incident scenes during accidents, emergencies, and security-related investigations.
- Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and incidents in accordance with company policies and site procedures.
- Complete accurate and detailed incidents, occurrence, and daily activity reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Valid Security Guard License.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Available for short notice shifts and 24/7 scheduling.
- Strong decision-making, attention to detail, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Basic computer skills such as the ability to use Microsoft Office.
- Able to walk, stand, and conduct patrols.
