About this role

Ecolab is seeking an Associate Logistics Manager to lead and coordinate material handling, shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control activities at a site location. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products through the facility while maintaining operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and compliance with company standards. You will work closely with plant leadership, supply chain partners, and cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations and support business objectives.

What You Will Do:

- Direct and coordinate material handling activities, including processing, packaging, storage, shipping, and receiving of supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Develop and manage schedules for shipping and receiving activities to optimize workflow, meet customer requirements, and effectively utilize warehouse space.
- Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control processes, and material management systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement controls that support operational requirements and inventory integrity.
- Collaborate with plant operations, procurement, customer service, and transportation partners to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on logistics performance, cost reduction, productivity, and service enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Manage logistics activities for 80,000sqft divided across three local buildings.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to logistics and warehouse personnel as applicable.
- Communicate regularly with management, local sales teams, and key stakeholders regarding operational performance and business needs.
- Support effective budget management and cost control efforts

Position Details (Location & Work Schedule):

- Location: Glenwood, IL
- M-F, 7am – 4pm
- May require occasional flexibility to support shipping, receiving, and operational demands.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Transportation, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, shipping, receiving, inventory control, manufacturing operations, or related supply chain functions.
- Experience working with inventory management systems and warehouse control processes.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience leading warehouse or logistics operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of transportation, distribution, and supply chain best practices.
- Experience managing logistics budgets and operational performance metrics.
- Demonstrated success driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting customer-focused operations.
- Proficiency with ERP, warehouse management, and inventory control systems. Preferably SAP
- Experience implementing new processes and procedures with associate training

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is $96,700.00 - $145,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
