About the Opportunity
The Psychometrist provides clinical, educational, and research functions to the hospital under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist as part of the Neuropsychology Service for the Mental Health and Addictions Program. Primary responsibilities include the administration and scoring of neuropsychological tests; participation in relevant clinical administrative tasks (e.g., communication with referral sources, chart reviews of referred patients, registration and scheduling of appointments, data entry, and ordering of testing and office materials); and participation in the training and supervision of Psychology learners (practicum students, residents).
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Master's degree in psychology or equivalent acceptable to the discipline.
- Completion of coursework in psychological assessment
- Training and/or experience in the administration and scoring of neuropsychological tests
- Experience working in a clinic setting with adult clinical populations; experience in a mental health clinic or service is an asset
- Proficient with core computer skills (e.g., MS Office, SPSS), Emerald Workload Measurement
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and awareness of ethical and professional practice standards in Psychology
- Sound clinical judgment
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Competencies in other languages preferred, French an asset

Hours
- Permanent full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
Compensation and Benefits
$38.11 - $48.61 hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
