Part-Time Customer Service Associate

Location: Brooklyn Park, Minnesota
Position Type: Part-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Hourly Pay Range: $11.50 - $15.00 per hour

Position Summary

Associa Minnesota is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Customer Service Associate to provide exceptional service to homeowners, board members, vendors, and internal team members. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and assists with administrative and office support functions. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to email inquiries professionally and promptly.

- Serve as the first point of contact for homeowners, board members, residents, and vendors.

- Assist customers with account, billing, payment, and association-related questions.

- Document customer interactions and ensure timely follow-up on requests.

- Route inquiries to the appropriate departments and team members as needed.

- Maintain and update homeowner, customer, and association records within company systems.

- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence, mail, and general office communications.

- Scan, copy, file, and organize documents and records.

- Assist with data entry and recordkeeping tasks as assigned.

- Support community managers and office staff with administrative projects.

- Maintain confidentiality of customer and association information.

- Contribute to a positive and professional office environment.

- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED required.

- One (1) to three (3) years of customer service, administrative support, call center, or related experience preferred.

- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Previous data entry experience preferred.

- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus but not required.

- Extended periods of sitting, computer work, and telephone communication.

- Occasional standing, filing, and lifting of office materials.
