What You'll Do

As a Research Director within BCG Vantage's Accelerator & Research Capability (ARC), you will independently manage the NXC, Costa Rica hub (30+ FTEs) and will be responsible for overseeing everyday delivery of research operations, stakeholder management and line management for the Accelerator.

ARC is Vantage's global research capability that provides research support to BCG's consulting team. It is a ~100 colleagues capability spread across hubs in CR, India, Madrid, Shanghai, Jakarta and Ho Chi Minh. From Jan 2027, it will have an additional capability called the 'Accelerator' which will incubate junior talent for Vantage

You’re Good At

- Managing scale teams and/or Hub(s)
- With proven ability to ‘manage Managers’ and drive their development, you will function as full team manager for a large-scale ARC hub
- With sound business knowledge & strategic perspective, you have experience running a large team and complex knowledge operations. As the Vantage leader for the hub, you will serve as the node and champion of the One Vantage culture
- With presence and gravitas to represent Costa Rica in senior Vantage and local office leadership forums.
- With oversight over effective Vantage communications, recruiting, L&D, vendor relationships, onboarding, manager upskilling, and GenAI adoption and innovation.

Driving ARC Priorities

- With ability to identify, conceptualize, get buy in & lead key initiatives independently, you can drive business at the office level including thought partnership at global level
- With advanced functional expertise, especially for big scale operations, you will make significant contributions to ARC strategy and innovation at a global level
- With the Accelerator being a new concept, you will help shape its direction and fine tune in an agile manner as needed

- You will contribute to consistent superior performance in all aspects of ARC leadership and are a core member of global ARC leadership team
- Along with qualities such as gravitas, credibility, presence, you can interact with Vantage Directors and above in a peer like manner
- You’re organized, able to multitask effectively and can track and manage multiple, competing priorities
- You possess problem solving & multitasking skills along with innovative mind set, and have ability to strive in a global environment
- You are GenAI savvy with comfort across tools such as Claude, ChatGPT etc.

Driving a positive team culture and environment, beyond operations

- With strong facilitation, network building and influencing abilities, you are seen as role model at the office level
- You will have the ultimate responsibility for people development and morale at for the hub

What You'll Bring

- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience and 6+ years of Leadership, Project and People Management
- Superior written/ verbal communication skills in English / any other language applicable to the region
