## Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Executive to join our Financial Services team, bringing 3 to 6 years of professional experience. This pivotal role is designed to support core operational functions within the finance department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting and compliance. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of our financial data while adhering to Australian regulatory standards, contributing significantly to the organization's fiscal health and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

- Manage and reconcile financial records using industry-standard software platforms, including BAS, Xero, and Mayob.
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) in strict accordance with Australian taxation laws and regulations.
- Conduct routine financial analysis to support decision-making processes and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows and improve overall departmental efficiency.
- Ensure all tax-related documentation is up-to-date and ready for potential audits or reviews.

Requirements

- Possess a minimum of 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience within the financial services sector.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Australian taxation frameworks and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
- Strong technical skills in key financial software, specifically BAS, Xero, and Mayob.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret financial data for non-financial stakeholders.
