HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
This role leads the integrated Communications strategy for SEAO across PR, media, influence, corporate and internal communications, strengthening the Maison’s desirability, visibility and reputation. Reporting to Regional MCC Director, you will translate global Maison priorities into regionally and locally relevant strategies, acting as the key communications partner to HQ, regional leaders, and a strategic enabler to markets, driving greater integration, effectiveness and impact in SEAO.
Your key responsibilities include:
Regional Communications
- Define and drive the SEAO Communications strategy and roadmap, ensuring strong alignment between global priorities, regional business objectives and market opportunities.
- Orchestrate and harmonize communications initiatives across markets while preserving local relevance and market ownership.
- Manage and optimize regional communications budgets and key investments, cultivating strong partnerships with key agencies to maximize impact.
- Establish clear KPIs and measurement frameworks for SEAO, translating performance and insights into meaningful, actionable recommendations.
- Provide oversight on clear governance and alignment across HQ, region and markets.
- Develop regional communications resources, build a strong, collaborative SEAO community across markets.
PR, Media & Influence
- Provide strategic leadership across PR, media, celebrities, ambassadors and influence.
- Shape regional priorities around key Maison launches and moments, identify cross-market opportunities and strengthen integration across paid, earned and influence channels.
Corporate & Internal Communications
- Craft and amplify Cartier's corporate narrative, ensuring commitments – including Women's empowerment, Arts & Culture, and heritage – authentically resonate with target audiences, thereby solidifying distinctive positioning as a purpose-driven luxury Maison.
- Manage the comprehensive execution of corporate events.
- Shape and strategically refine leadership scripts/key messages for key events.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for sensitive communications and orchestrate strategic announcements. Collaborate closely with HR to ensure seamless coordination and solid editorial consistency across internal channels.
YOUR PROFILE/KEY SKILLS
- 10 – 12 years of progressive experience across communications, PR, media and/or integrated marketing, ideally within luxury or an international premium brand.
- 3 – 5 years of people or team management experience.
- Proven record in leading multi-market communications strategies and translating global brand priorities into locally relevant plans.
- Deep expertise spanning PR, media relations, and influencer engagement, complemented by a robust background in corporate and internal communications.
- Excellent communication, storytelling and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrate deep sensitivity to local cultures, traditions and cultural dynamics across SEAO, with the ability to translate them into relevant expressions.
- Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to connect communications investment and performance to brand desirability and business objectives.
- Exhibit strong executive presence and a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders within a matrix organization, adeptly navigating ambiguity and change.
- Ability to work flexible hours as dictated by corporate events’ needs, with some travel required, cross SEAO and internationally for press trips and key activation (15 - 20%).
