As an Emulation Operations Engineer, you will help maintain and improve existing systems, while helping develop next-generation solutions for future projects.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our emulation lab, which involves managing and maintaining the lab's IT infrastructure, but also implementing optimal “cloud to lab” data transfer mechanisms, continuous integration flows, schedulers and dashboards.
You will help drive efficiencies and resilience by adopting novel techniques, in part driven by AI tooling.The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what’s possible. US: $138000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience with emulation CAD operations.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture.
- 6 years of experience with emulation CAD operations.
- Experience in IT infrastructure management and Cloud systems design (including VMs), preferably in an emulation lab or high-performance computing environment.
- Experience writing code (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate monitoring and data analysis.
- Proficiency with batch job schedulers such as Slurm, LSF, or PBS.
- Basic knowledge of Emulation/FPGA compilation and runtime flows.
- Design, implement, maintain and automate the IT infrastructure for the emulation lab, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and workstations.
- Explore and implement novel emulation workflows and methodologies including data transfer, schedulers and automated end-to-end regression flows.
- Participate in on-call rotation and monitor production distributed computing infrastructure, troubleshooting advanced technical issues within a Linux environment.
- Manage relationships with vendors for hardware, software, and support contracts.
- Automate systems management with code.
