Retail Distribution - Mortgage Relationship Management

Should you join our Mortgage Relationship Management, you will work closely with our professional, innovative and committed staff to develop and enhance mortgage loan products to meet the changing needs of customers in a dynamic market environment and to deliver premium services to our customers.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our department as Channel Sales Manager.

Principal responsibilities

- Proactive promoting the Bank’s secured loan business including mortgage loans and secured overdraft products through the Bank’s direct banking business channels, including e-channel and phone banking channel
- Collaborate with branches in acquiring mortgage business
- Assist District Lead to coach and guide team members to handle mortgage application documents and submit them for credit assessment based on the Bank’s mortgage guidelines and policies
- Monitor sales process to ensure sales activities are compliant with the Bank’s policies procedures
- Participate in cross-selling other financial products and services to our customers through the Bank’s distribution channels
- Keep abreast of latest development of the mortgage business and recommend corresponding business strategies as appropriate
- Manage operational risk and observe the relevant policies/ guidelines and compliance requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

- University degree in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines
- Passes in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations (IIQE 123)
- Proven experience in mortgage lending business with solid knowledge in mortgage business and good credit knowledge
- Able to demonstrate competency as sales leader with strong sales and service orientation, good interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to take challenges positively
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese; knowledge of Putonghua an advantage
- High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
- Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
