About this role

## Your mission
If you're early in your supply chain career and want broad, hands-on experience, this is your chance to learn the full supply chain of a scaling food company. As Junior Supply Chain Specialist, you'll work across Retail Operations, Planning, and Procurement, supporting all three and keeping daily operations running smoothly as priorities shift.

Key responsibilities

- Retail operations:  Process EDI and email orders in SAP, issue delivery notes and transfer orders, and coordinate deliveries with logistics partners.
- Supply chain planning:  Maintain stock, production, and inventory data, and support the Supply Chain Planner with volume forecasts and planning overviews.
- Procurement:  Create and follow up on purchase orders based on agreed forecasts, check supplier confirmations, and monitor deliveries of ingredients and packaging.
- Master data:  Maintain accurate product, packaging, and supplier data across systems for internal teams and retail partners.
- Cross-team support:  Take over operational tasks across the team as priorities shift, and escalate decisions to the responsible team member.
- Reporting and process improvement:  Prepare regular reports on orders, stock, and purchasing, and help document and streamline supply chain processes.

Your profile

Requirements

- Professional experience:  0–2 years in supply chain, logistics, or procurement, ideally in FMCG or food. Relevant internships or working student roles count.
- Educational background:  A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical skills:  Strong Excel skills. SAP or ERP experience is a plus.
- Working style:  Organised, reliable, and comfortable switching between different tasks and stakeholders.
- Operational agility:  A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Language proficiency:  Fluency in English and German, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
