The Team:
The IT function at Oner Active keeps the teams operating day to day. We support every department by keeping the hardware, software, and access running smoothly; while also ensuring our security and infrastructure are effectively managed. We’re hands-on, responsive, and take pride in being one step ahead in solving problems and providing solutions.
About you:
You're a natural problem-solver who's just as comfortable troubleshooting a laptop issue as you are managing access across a growing SaaS estate. You're calm under pressure, patient with non-technical colleagues, and take genuine satisfaction in fixing things properly and putting process in place. You are always thinking of how you can make something make simpler or more scalable. You are happy to be hands-on across a broad range of tasks, comfortable owning things independently, and engaging with stakeholders at all levels from the wider teams to directors. As the is the second hire for Head Office IT team, the role is built to grow.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Being the go-to person for day-to-day IT support across Mac, Windows and mobile devices, resolving issues quickly and explaining fixes in plain language
- Owning the full employee tech lifecycle, joiners, movers and leavers, break/fix, hardware upgrades and refreshes, mobiles and peripherals, for a hybrid and remote workforce, working closely with the People team to ensure a smooth, well-timed experience for every employee
- Provisioning, configuring, deploying and repairing hardware, and keeping our MDM platform and asset register accurate and up to date
- Managing user accounts, groups and access permissions across our SaaS estate, administering changes in line with company security policy
- Supporting our hybrid Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environment, including user administration, troubleshooting and configuration
- Setting up meeting rooms and AV equipment, ensuring they are working and ready to use, troubleshooting issues as they arise in the moment
- Documenting fixes, processes and playbooks so knowledge isn't reliant on any one person, and building out our internal knowledge base
- Delivering training and guidance to staff on IT systems, tools and best practice, helping raise overall tech confidence across the business
- Logging, prioritising and resolving support tickets in a timely manner, keeping users informed throughout
- Beyond day-to-day support, you'll get exposure to wider IT projects, hardware refreshes, system rollouts, process improvements, as your experience grows. This isn't a service-desk-only role.
You’ll need to have:
- 2-4 years' experience in an IT support role
- Hands-on experience supporting both Mac and Windows environments
- Experience with an MDM platform (e.g. iru, jamf) for device provisioning and management
- Experience administering Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, including user and access management
- Experience using ITSM tools
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues, engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks
Nice to have’s:
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent process knowledge
- Basic scripting or automation experience (e.g. shell scripting, PowerShell)
- Experience in a scaling business (e-commence/ retail), helping build IT processes as the company grows
- Highly organised, with a methodical approach to documentation and record-keeping
