- Proactively identify and lead the resolution of systemic data quality issues, collaborating closely with technology, data governance, and external vendors/service providers.

- Develop and implement enhanced procedures for statement repairs and data enrichment activities, ensuring data integrity at all stages.

- Act as a subject matter expert for data quality standards and best practices within the reconciliation function.

Portfolio Readiness & Upstream Process Optimization:

- Ensure all portfolios are consistently operationally ready for daily reconciliation processing, anticipating and mitigating potential issues.

- Conduct advanced validation of portfolio, position, transaction, and cash data, focusing on upstream impacts and potential discrepancies.

- Proactively identify and analyze systemic upstream data and process issues affecting reconciliation, leading cross-functional efforts to implement preventative measures.

- Forge strong partnerships with Custody, Fund Accounting, Data, and Technology teams to drive comprehensive solutions for critical operational challenges.

Operational Oversight, Mentorship & Process Improvement:

- Maintain robust operational controls and ensure strict adherence to service level agreements, conducting regular reviews and proposing enhancements.

- Provide expert guidance and support for operating model handoffs and complex escalations across global teams (e.g., Singapore, Budapest, and Denver).

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for complex issues, resolution processes, and newly implemented procedures.

- Lead initiatives for process improvements and automation opportunities within reconciliation, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.

Professional Experience:

- 4-7 years of progressive experience in investment operations, with a strong focus on reconciliation, data management, or a similar financial data analysis role.

- Demonstrated expertise in navigating and utilizing BlackRock Aladdin for reconciliation and data analysis; experience with other similar enterprise-level reconciliation platforms will also be considered.

- Proven track record of independently investigating, analyzing, and resolving complex cash and position breaks and systemic data discrepancies.
