As a Middle Office Operations Senior Associate in the Nexus Middle Office Team, you will support the continuous growth of the Nexus business, working in a fast-paced innovative environment, performing daily controls and processes, liaising with internal and external clients and key stakeholders, and partnering closely with Structuring, Trading and Technology teams across our global footprint

The Nexus Middle Office Team supports the Nexus Platform Business, whose product offering allows clients to obtain synthetic exposure to a discretionarily managed portfolio utilizing J.P. Morgan's most advanced technology and operations (transactional, settlement, reporting). It allows investors to manage and create their own dynamic strategies which can reference a wide range of assets on 60+ markets, leveraging J.P. Morgan’s access and infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

- Act as the primary point of contact for addressing and resolving client queries, ensuring timely responses and escalation to key stakeholders

- Reconcile trades in daily reports vs internal bookings and investigate breaks

- Reconcile prices to identify and rectify price exceptions, including reconciliation of BBG published levels

- Verify pricing data prior to distribution of daily reports to high-priority clients

- Coordinate with global Trading and Middle Office teams to ensure successful trade capture and clear trade booking exceptions

- Reconcile corporate action events and ensure event instructions are accurately and swiftly booked

- Reconcile dividends and manage dividend details to ensure accuracy in client reporting

- Set up, amend, and terminate indices based on stakeholder requests

- Monitor publications and perform reconciliations (Primary/Secondary/Tertiary/Quaternary) to ensure levels are correct and send daily MIS

- Seek opportunities to automate manual processes wherever feasible

- Manage the mailbox and respond to stakeholders in a timely manner

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

- Demonstrate knowledge of financial products such as Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income, Options, and Futures

- Use Excel confidently (with good working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint)

- Work effectively with cross-functional teams globally

- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders

- Analyze processes and suggest improvements to drive efficiencies

- Operate as a motivated self-starter who is results-driven and control-minded

- Multi-task and priorities effectively while working under pressure

- Apply strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service

- Maintain strong attention to detail and follow-through on exceptions

- Support initiatives and projects across multiple streams (infrastructure, regulations, controls, etc.)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

- Bring previous trade support and/or control function experience

- Experience with automation tools such as Alteryx and/or Tableau
