Meet your future team
As our new Project Manager, you will join the Technology Center in Skjern and become part of a highly skilled team of more than 20 technical specialists and project managers working with production technology development, digitalisation, and the design and development of manufacturing equipment for our global supply organisation.
This is a fixed-term project position for two years , created to support a portfolio of strategic automation and production technology projects. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues across engineering, design, programming, procurement, and manufacturing, ensuring successful delivery of advanced, customised production equipment to our factories.
You will lead multiple projects simultaneously, from the initial customer request through design, development, installation, and final handover. You will also represent the Technology Center in new product development projects, helping to ensure that new products can be manufactured efficiently through the right technologies, processes, and equipment.
Based in Skjern, you will report to the Senior Manager of the Technology Center Denmark. The role includes approximately 30-50 travel days per year to sites across Europe, with occasional visits to Østbirk.

More specifically, your tasks will be to:
- Lead, facilitate, and coordinate project activities, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate with internal customers to understand needs and translate requirements into technical specifications
- Work closely with designers and programmers to define machine sequences and mechanical and electrical solutions
- Coordinate with design and procurement teams to identify suppliers and source required components
- Guide and support workshop teams responsible for developing and building production equipment
- Facilitate transportation, installation, commissioning, site acceptance testing, and training at production sites
- Ensure successful project completion, handover, and transfer of responsibility to customers
- Support new product development projects by ensuring manufacturing readiness and effective design for manufacturing

Moreover, we expect that you:
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree within Engineering or another relevant technical discipline
- Have experience in project management within a technical or industrial environment
- Possess solid knowledge of machinery, mechanics, automation solutions, or machine-building projects
- Have experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and managing project deliverables
- Are fluent in both English and Danish, written and spoken
- Are comfortable travelling internationally as part of the role
