Job Description:
Under general supervision, Custodian will be responsible for housekeeping duties in specified areas of the college. This position is located in Sandersville. Performs a variety of routine duties such as cleaning floors, windows, fixtures, stairs, restrooms and doors. Custodian must know the regulations on safety measures. Able to recognize cleaning agents and the chemicals that they are made from. Maintain orderly appearance in all storage areas. Responsible for appearance/cleanliness of specified areas. May provide care and routine maintenance of grounds. May distribute and maintain materials, tools and equipment. Flexibility in work schedule and may be required to work evening and weekend hours. Maximum 29 hours per week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalency. Valid driver's license. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Three years of custodial experience.
