Position Overview

The Veterinary Referral Coordinator serves as the liaison between Fetch’s team of doctors and our referral partners. This key role combines exceptional guest service, a concierge-like approach, and detailed organizational skills to enhance the experience of our referring community. The Coordinator ensures a seamless referral process, providing personalized support to veterinarians, guests, and their beloved pets.

Key Responsibilities

- Referring Veterinarian Liaison:
- Serve as the main point of contact for referring veterinarians and their teams.
- Direct cases to the appropriate services and address questions or concerns.

- Medical Record Management:
- Review medical records from referring teams to ensure all necessary information is included.
- Audit and ensure completeness of medical records.
- Create and send clinical summaries to referring doctors.

- Community Engagement:
- Foster relationships with the veterinary community by identifying and addressing their needs.
- Partner with the marketing team to organize veterinary education events for our referral partners and their teams.

- Guest Coordination:
- Facilitate pre-appointment communication with new guests to provide a welcoming experience.
- Personally greet and onboard new guests during their first visit.
- Conduct follow-ups after visits or hospitalization.

Requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Customer service-oriented mindset
