JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Field Manager is SitelogIQs representative with the overall responsibility for management and coordination of multiple projects from the field perspective on At-Risk projects in the eastern region of SitelogIQ Northeast. This includes leading and managing a group of superintendents, assistant superintendents, assistant project managers while interaction with project managers and project coordinators. The Regional Field Manager is responsible for ensuring that the project is completed in accordance with project scope and schedule while advising on safety protocols and promoting quality (in general holding the project team accountable to project quality assurance). The Regional Field Manger will also participate in Constructability Reviews, the development of bidding schedules, assistance in de-scoping subcontractors. This position will report to the Regional Director of Operations–East (with substantial interaction with the VP of OPS) and participate in the Construction Resources Group.
Occasional travel is required for this role, including [e.g., site visits, client meetings, conferences].
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership
- Communication to promote teamwork and professionalism resulting in a successful project.
- Participate in Periodic Operations Meetings with the team to review project status
- Monitor project team schedule goals and milestones.
Preconstruction
- Attend monthly pre-construction/development meetings as requested or necessary.
- Assist the Pre-Con/Development Team with the following:
Value-engineering alternatives
- Preliminary construction schedule for bidding purposes
- Construction phasing plan.
- Review construction administrative procedures, insurances, and bonds
- Monitor Procore to make sure it is being updated and Project Team members are provided access.
Documentation
- Oversight of team keeping up with project documentation including daily reports, photographs, submittals, RFIs, progress meetings, as-built documents, change management, quality assurance, and progress billings.
Scheduling
- Monitor cost analysis of changes and change orders being processed in a timely manner and assist as necessary.
- Monitor pay application procedures are being followed and processed in a timely manner.
- Assist program executive on decisions to fund items beyond scope for energy projects
Quality
- Visit each site on a regular basis (not less than once a month) and perform independent inspection of work to ensure quality.
Project Closeout
- Monitor Project Team to make sure punch list and closeout documents are completed within 60 days or within contract requirements.
- Monitor Project Team to make sure Commissioning, Start-up, Training, etc. is provided and completed within the contract requirements.
- Required documentation has been turned over to the Owner.
- Assist with claim mitigations and warranty walk-throughs as required.
Client Satisfaction
- Maintain a close relationship with the Owners representative. Make periodic phone calls to representatives to make sure the project team is meeting or exceeding their expectations.
- Work closely with Director of Operations and Program Executive to ensure clear, concise communication with Owner
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Construction or similar technical field and 4-years professional experience in a construction related field.
- 10 years of relevant experience in construction field preferred
- Experience in Procore
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint program
- A valid drivers license is required for travel related to job duties. Access to a reliable vehicle may be necessary.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
This position is performed at active construction sites and requires frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The role involves walking on uneven ground, climbing ladders, and operating around heavy machinery. The noise level is typically loud, and the employee may be exposed to dust, debris, and hazardous materials. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, safety vests, and steel-toed boots must be worn as required.
This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, and reaching. Work hours may include early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends depending on project timelines. Travel to various job sites within Allentown is required.
