Education & Training Coordinator

Position Overview
We are seeking an organized, customer-focused Education & Training Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of learning programs, training events, and related administrative activities. This role serves as an initial point of contact for incoming calls and email correspondence, providing timely customer service and technical assistance to internal teams, external partners, stakeholders, and program participants.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, coordinating virtual and in-person training activities, supporting event logistics, maintaining instructional resources, and working closely with leaders and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for Education & Training-related phone calls and email inquiries.
- Provide responsive customer service and technical support to internal teams, external partners, stakeholders, and consumers.
- Coordinate and support internal and external meetings, training sessions, learning programs, and events.
- Assist with event planning and logistics, including scheduling, registration, participant communications, materials, agendas, and follow-up activities.
- Use learning and event management systems to set up classes, approve agendas, manage registrations, and provide technical support to users and partners.
- Support virtual training sessions using platforms such as Webex or similar tools.
- Create, update, and maintain user guides, training materials, instructional resources, and related documentation.
- Administer training evaluations and surveys; compile results and prepare reports as needed.
- Maintain awareness of organizational programs, resources, systems, and processes to effectively assist customers and stakeholders.
- Perform general administrative and office-management tasks in support of the Education & Training function.
- Assist with project tracking, coordination, and reporting for training and event-related initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or equivalent relevant work experience preferred.
- Experience coordinating learning programs, training activities, events, or administrative operations.
- Experience supporting leaders and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience using virtual meeting platforms, such as Webex, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar tools.
- Experience administering surveys or evaluations and preparing related reports.
- Proficiency with learning, event, or class-management systems, including setting up classes, managing agendas, and providing user support.
- Demonstrated event planning and coordination experience.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of affordable housing, community development, or programs serving low- and moderate-income populations.
- Project coordination or project management experience.
- Experience using project management, mapping, or workflow tools such as Business Map or similar platforms.
