Position Summary:

Directs and manages central pharmacy and/or OR satellite workflow including oversight of technicians, interns and volunteers ensuring the accuracy of their work in accordance with departmental procedures and Federal and State regulations. Serves as medication therapy resource for activities such as drug information, training of staff, provider questions, and Pharmacy Protocols. Evaluates medication orders for appropriateness by taking the whole patient picture into account to promote optimal outcomes.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy. BS or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

Experience: 2+ years inpatient experience preferred

License : Current active licensure as a Registered Pharmacist with Medication Therapy Services designation in the State of Missouri.
