About The Team

You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate the AM shift sortation team to achieve daily volume, productivity and quality targets.
- Allocate employees to work areas based on operational volume and staffing requirements.
- Conduct shift briefings and communicate daily targets, priorities, safety requirements and operational changes.
- Monitor attendance, lateness and staffing levels, escalating shortages or attendance issues promptly.
- Monitor parcel flow and sortation performance, responding quickly to backlogs, missorts and operational bottlenecks.
- Track team productivity and individual performance, providing coaching and feedback where required.
- Ensure all parcels are handled, scanned and sorted accurately according to operational procedures.
- Coordinate with inbound, outbound, transportation and other operational teams to ensure smooth handovers.
- Ensure employees comply with Health & Safety requirements, site rules and standard operating procedures.
- Support the training and induction of new starters and agency workers.
- Report operational issues, equipment faults, incidents and performance exceptions to the Sortation Supervisor/Manager.
- Maintain accurate shift records, including attendance, headcount, productivity and operational exceptions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality and operational efficiency.

Requirements

- Previous experience in warehouse, parcel sortation, logistics or a similar operational environment.
- Previous Team Leader or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong people-management and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume operation.
- Good understanding of productivity, quality, attendance and Health & Safety requirements.
- Able to identify operational issues and make quick decisions during the shift.
- Comfortable using warehouse systems, scanners and basic Excel/reporting tools.
- Flexible to support operational requirements during peak periods.
