Torch Technologies is seeking a Facilities, Space and Seating Planner to join a team supporting the entire 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing across multiple installations. This position supports the 350 SWW Staff .

The successful candidate will operate across multiple geographically separated units to align the wing’s physical footprint with its operational mission while ensuring adherence to Department of the Air Force and DoW regulations. The Planner will serve as the central authority for auditing, allocating, and forecasting facilities requirements. By identifying organizational design gaps and recommending strategic alterations, maintenance, or reconditioning projects, they will ensure that all Wing units are positioned to meet the Commander’s strategic objectives while remaining fully compliant with federal real property standards.

Within the job scope, the Planner maintains the absolute integrity of the wing’s spatial data. This involves conducting frequent, physical facility walk-throughs to verify occupancy data and using AutoCAD to keep building drawings and seating databases synchronized. The Planner translates this raw field data into actionable business intelligence utilizing Microsoft Office tools—such as Excel pivot tables and PowerPoint—to generate precise headcount analyses, space utilization reports, and executive briefings. Additionally, they will build and manage workflows and digital dashboards to keep leadership continuously informed of programmatic statuses and process efficiencies.

The Planner will serve as the primary point of contact for unit facility managers, orchestrating complex tenant transitions, move-ins, move-outs, and initial walk-throughs. By partnering closely with Project Managers and Building Planners, they help draft project charters, compile data packets, and coordinate daily tasks to keep facilities projects on schedule. Serving as both a technical advisor and a mediator, the Planner provides technical information to coworkers and briefs senior military leadership to successfully navigate the zero-sum spatial and seating requirements of wing’s multiple geographically separated units and Eglin AFB facilities.
