Role: Senior Account Manager

Based in Lisbon, Portugal, the Senior Account Manager is responsible for managing relationships with corporate and trade customers while driving revenue growth and supporting Qatar Airways commercial objectives.

About the Role

Responsible for managing relationships with Qatar Airways corporate and trade customers, developing strategic account plans, supporting sales and marketing activities, and maximizing value from commercial agreements.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with trade partners, corporate customers and government stakeholders.
- Prepare account development plans to achieve short, medium and long-term mutual benefits.
- Contribute to the implementation of sales strategies that maximize revenue opportunities and reduce cost of sale.
- Lead discussions on commercial agreements with assigned accounts.
- Review sales data and identify tactical revenue opportunities.
- Develop sales and marketing activities that support trade and corporate sales growth.
- Manage expenditure budgets and maximize value from marketing investment.
- Provide regular market intelligence, customer feedback and competitor insights.
- Represent Qatar Airways at trade events, promotions and sales functions.
- Build partnerships with tourism bodies, hotels, car hire partners and other value-added stakeholders.

About You

- Customer-facing experience.
- Experience negotiating contracts.
- Experience in airline sales and marketing.
- Good understanding of systems and interpretation of available data.
- Ability to identify and interpret market trends.
- PC literate with knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong influencing and relationship management skills.
- Excellent command of English and Portuguese.
- Must currently have the legal right to live and work in Portugal.
