For our customers. For the cities and communities we serve. For ourselves. As a global team, we are transforming urban mobility. Let’s grow better, together.

The Role

We are seeking an ambitious, sharp, and execution-driven Senior Project Manager to take full ownership of program delivery within our London office. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and ground-level execution.

Your mission goes beyond basic project tracking: you will establish benchmark project standards, enforce rigorous change control, protect commercial baselines, and consistently surpass customer expectations.

How to Make an Impact

1. Program Execution & Baseline Control

- Comprehensive Project Planning: Build, baseline, and defend full Project Management Plans (PMP) detailing execution rationale, resource allocation, procurement pathways, and risk protocols.
- Schedule & Workstream Management: Own the master schedule. Track critical paths, manage baselines, and control performance across time, cost, quality, and operational impact.
- Change Control & Scope Integrity: Manage change requests with discipline. Evaluate operational and financial impacts, maintain the Change Register, and protect project baselines from scope creep.
- Phase Gate Governance: Enforce Arrive’s standard phase-gate methodologies across the full project lifecycle, ensuring zero compromises on quality or operational readiness.

2. Financial & Contractual Governance

- Business Case Ownership: Treat the project business case as a living document. Align every operational decision with overarching financial health and commercial viability.
- Budget & Cost Control: Forecast, track, and manage capital and operational expenditures. Link scope changes directly to financial impact to prevent margin erosion.
- Contract & Specification Management: Maintain line-of-sight across internal specifications and external customer contracts. Partner with Commercial teams to enforce T&Cs, claims control, and baseline management.

3. Risk, Resource & Stakeholder Management

- Proactive RAID Management: Own the RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies/Opportunities). Quantify threats early and implement decisive mitigation strategies before delivery is impacted.
- Resource Allocation: Partner with functional leads to secure, deploy, and retain the human and material resources required for high-velocity delivery.

Stakeholder Alliance Building: Build credibility across senior internal executives, external partners, public transit authorities, and enterprise customers through clear, structured communication plans.

Your Background

- Experience: Demonstrated track record of leading complex, high-stakes projects within the Transport, Mobility, Software markets
- Governance Expertise: Deep fluency in formal project methodologies (APM, PRINCE2, Agile, or PMI) and hands-on experience navigating Phase-Gate governance structures.
- Commercial & Financial Acumen: Strong proficiency in P&L tracking, contract management, cost forecasting, and baseline change control.
- Customer-First Mentality: Proven ability to manage customer-facing deliverables where operational downtime or delays carry direct reputational and commercial risk.
- Communication: Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills; adept at presenting actionable data to C-suite leadership.

Core Behaviors & Leadership Attributes

- Customer Obsession: Acts with the end-user and client in mind, turning potential roadblocks into transparent, collaborative solutions.
- Zero tolerance for delays : And a relentless drive for operational excellence.
- Strategic Negotiation: Balances firm commercial boundaries with strong relationship preservation during complex stakeholder negotiations.
- Decisive Leadership: Comfortable making high-impact decisions under pressure while holding delivery teams accountable to world-class standards.
