Architect

You'll take ambitious designs and work out how to build them properly. You'll produce the technical packages, take schemes through planning and sort out the details that make a house work . Then you'll be on site regularly, checking it's going up the way it was drawn. The projects are whole homes, new builds and large renovations, in India and abroad.

ABOUT INTERIORS WITH ART

Interiors With Art has been designing and building homes for 24 years. Most of our work is for discerning private clients, and over the years it has included homes for royal families in the Middle East, yachts, and hotels such as the Four Seasons. In India we've designed homes for many of the country's leading industrial families in Mumbai and Delhi.

We've recently opened our own offices in Delhi and Chennai and set up a joint venture with Sotheby's International Realty India, so it's a big moment for us here. Because we design and build, our designers see a project right through to the day the client moves in. We also build a lot of our own technology, and we think hard about how a home affects the health of the people living in it.

We like people who question things. If something has always been done one way and you can see a better way, we want to hear about it. It's a fun team to be part of and people work hard. Things move quickly because we're growing and changing at the same time.

We're happy to try new software, and if it makes the work better or quicker, we keep it. You'll work with clients in India and abroad .

THE LEVEL WE WORK AT

Our projects usually range from ₹10 crore to ₹90 crore and above. We're looking for people who've worked at that level and have taken complete projects from concept through to handover. That means whole homes rather than single rooms, across renovations, refurbishments and new builds. Experience in the Middle East or abroad is a real advantage.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Design and develop technical and construction drawing packages.

- Design custom joinery and detailing packages.

- Prepare planning and regulatory submissions in line with local requirements.

- Work closely with the interior design, BIM and site teams so every scheme is coherent and buildable.

- Carry out regular site visits, meet contractors and subcontractors, and coordinate programmes with the wider team.

- Meet clients and help manage their expectations.

- Own quality checking and coordination across your packages.

- Help maintain our architectural standards and drawing packages in line with Indian standards, and keep finding ways to improve our drawings.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

- At least 3 to 5 years' experience from a luxury background, ideally high-end residential.

- Complete projects delivered end to end across renovations, refurbishments and new builds.

- Strong Revit experience (essential).

- Experience running projects, coordinating on site with contractors and suppliers, and visiting factories as needed.

- A meticulous approach to quality checking and coordination.

- Be a qualified architect
