About this role

The Quality Engineer in IRTH Group will be responsible to ensure that products, services, or processes meet specific quality standards and requirements. This involves developing and implementing quality control plans, conducting inspections and tests, analysing data, and identifying and resolving quality issues. Ultimately, a QA/QC Engineer aims to deliver products or services that satisfy customer expectations and comply with industry regulations. They will play a key role in shaping IRTH Group’s quality vision, driving excellence in work quality execution, and delivering projects that align with the company’s strategic objectives.

Requirements

Key Accountabilities:

- Ensures the quality records, acceptance certificates, and the documentation for specific systems and buildings/areas are prepared and collated in accordance with project requirements
- Monitor PODs construction activities for compliance with plans and specifications.
- Perform basic quality control inspections of materials and workmanship.
- Review subcontractor / supplier inspections and test plans against the scope of work and specification.
- Prepare and maintain progress reports and documentation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on logistics and deliveries.
- Assist with resolving minor issues and answering questions from workers.
- Monitor and control the status of punch list and exception lists relevant to quality dossiers
- Maintain records of testing like concrete, steel …etc, information and various metrics such as number of defective works.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, noting deviations or defects found to ensure traceability and quality control.
- Prepare and submit reports to the quality Representative / Sr. Quality Engineer
- Reported to the Sr. Quality Representative.

- strong understanding of PODs construction materials and methods.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
