The Analyst, Endpoint Security Management, is the primary point of contact for cybersecurity inquiries affecting end-user workstations and mobile devices across Air Canada. The role coordinates with the different cybersecurity groups and partners with product teams to ensure endpoint security controls, configurations, and settings align with applicable corporate cybersecurity standards and requirements.

This position may be located in Montreal or in Toronto.

Responsibilities

Endpoint security management for workstations and mobile devices, including:

- Act as the primary point of contact for cybersecurity inquiries related to managed workstations and mobile devices.
- Coordinate with Air Canada cybersecurity groups, product teams, and internal and external stakeholders to clarify security requirements and align endpoint controls and configurations.
- Support the implementation, validation, monitoring, and ongoing management of security controls and settings across Windows, macOS, and supported mobile-device environments.
- Assist product teams in securing workstations and applications to meet corporate cybersecurity standards and control requirements.
- Advise product teams, cybersecurity groups, and internal stakeholders on endpoint security standards, configuration requirements, technical risks, and remediation options.
- Maintain and troubleshoot endpoint security configurations delivered through Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), Group Policy, and Active Directory.
- Review security findings, device-compliance issues, policy conflicts, and configuration gaps; coordinate remediation activities with responsible teams.
- Provide Level 3 technical support for complex workstation and endpoint security issues on Windows and Mac devices, escalating when required.
- Support cybersecurity assessments, audits, investigations, and evidence requests related to workstation and mobile-device controls.
- Maintain endpoint security standards, configuration records, technical documentation, support procedures, and stakeholder communications.
- Monitor security-related incidents, problems, changes, and service requests affecting endpoints; identify risks and dependencies and provide status updates to stakeholders and management.
- Support change, incident, problem, and release management processes related to endpoint security controls and configurations.

Qualifications

- A relevant university degree, technical certification, and/or relevant experience commensurate with the role.
- 3-5 years of experience managing endpoints in a corporate environment.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, including device configuration, compliance policies, security baselines, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), including endpoint configuration, collections, deployments, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with Group Policy and Active Directory management in a corporate environment.
- Experience implementing, validating, and supporting endpoint security controls across Windows, macOS, and mobile-device environments.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple internal teams, cybersecurity groups, product teams, and external service providers.
- Ability to communicate technical details, security requirements, risks, and remediation actions clearly to stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting on Windows and Mac devices.
- Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent security inquiries and remediation activities.
- Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
