We are hiring for a MENA Credit Flow Sales, Vice President.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Vice President, MENA Credit Flow Sales will be responsible for originating, developing and executing secondary market credit business across institutional clients in the Middle East and North Africa. The role focuses on driving revenues through active client coverage, distribution of credit products, execution of flow business, and collaboration with trading, research and syndicate teams.
- Manage and develop relationships with institutional investors across the MENA region, including banks, asset managers, sovereign wealth funds and central banks.
- Generate and execute secondary market flow credit opportunities across sovereign, quasi-sovereign, financial and corporate credits.
- Market trading axes, investment ideas and new issue opportunities to clients.
- Provide timely market colour, relative value ideas and issuer-specific insights.
- Partner closely with trading, research, syndicate and coverage teams to maximize client opportunities and revenue generation.
- Support primary market transactions through investor engagement and distribution efforts.
- Maintain a strong understanding of MENA credit markets, investor positioning and macroeconomic developments.
- Help to develop and support interest rate derivatives trading as well as cross currency swaps flow with MENA clients
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory, compliance, KYC and conduct requirements.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Strong knowledge of sovereign and corporate credit markets.
- Excellent client relationship, communication and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of MENA fixed income markets.
- Relationship-driven with a collaborative approach.
- Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented.
- High standards of integrity and professionalism.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- Proven experience in Fixed Income, Credit or Emerging Markets Sales.
- Proven track record covering MENA institutional investors and generating revenues.
- Derivative knowledge including asset swaps and cross currency
- Great organisational and time management skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Demonstrable ability to innovate, support change and problem solve
