Job Description

TVG-Medulla, LLC is seeking a Clinical Trainer to support the professional development and clinical readiness of team members across Chiro One Wellness Centers. This position plays a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality training to new and existing employees, including Doctors of Chiropractic, Chiropractic Technicians, and corporate roles. Working closely with Clinical Operations and Learning & Development, the Clinical Trainer facilitates hands-on instruction, evaluates skill development, and reinforces clinical standards, operational best practices, and patient-centered care. This role is based in Oak Brook, IL, with occasional travel to clinic locations and regional markets as needed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

- Facilitate initial and ongoing training for new hires and existing team members across clinical roles, including Chiropractic Technicians (CTs), Clinic Managers (CMs), Doctors of Chiropractic (DCs), Senior CTs, and Retention CTs. Training encompasses clinical procedures, operational workflows, patient experience, communication, technology, performance expectations, and Chiro One's standards of care.
- Deliver engaging, structured training through in-person, virtual, and blended learning formats. Training may take place at the Oak Brook corporate office, Chicago-area clinics, and regional locations across Chiro One's markets.
- Partner with Clinical Operations, Clinical Training, and Learning & Development leadership to assess training needs, identify performance gaps, evaluate program effectiveness, and implement improvements aligned with organizational objectives.
- Adapt instructional methods to accommodate varying experience levels and learning styles. Provide individualized coaching, constructive feedback, and practical skill development to support trainee competency and readiness.
- Coordinate and administer training activities, including scheduling, preparation of materials, trainee communications, system access, assessments, examination proctoring, completion tracking, and post-training evaluations.
- Collaborate with department leaders, clinic management, and trainees to ensure consistent communication, alignment on training expectations, and successful program execution.
- Develop, review, and maintain training materials, instructional resources, assessments, and standard operating procedures to reflect current clinical practices, organizational policies, technology updates, and operational improvements.
- Monitor trainee progress, document competency assessments, identify areas requiring additional development, and communicate training outcomes and recommendations to appropriate leadership.
- Partner with subject matter experts to ensure training content remains accurate, relevant, and consistent with Chiro One's clinical standards, systems, and operational procedures.
- Maintain current knowledge of Chiro One's care model, policies, procedures, systems, and services, while supporting a consistent patient experience and reinforcing the organization's mission and values.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen training quality, employee performance, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

**Required**

- Bachelor's degree in education or related field; or certificate/certification in adult learning.
- Two or more years of adult training experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Ability to write technical material, learning objectives, assessments, and formal processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office and learning management systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of in-class and distance learning best practices and mitigation strategies.
- Availability to travel domestically for onboarding, continuing education, and trainer coverage as needed.

**Preferred**

- Knowledge of ADDIE instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Previous supervisory, management, and/or customer service experience.
