SCHEDULE: Full-time; Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Average of 40 hours/week. Must be available for evening and weekend work when necessary.

SCOPE:

The Private Banking Associate delivers an exceptional concierge banking experience to Hills Bank Private Banking clients. As the primary operational and client-service partner to the Private Banker, this position coordinates day-to-day relationship support and ensures each interaction reflects Hills Bank's core values of Care, Connection, Trust, Ownership and Accountability.

The Private Banking Associate creates a seamless client experience through personalized service, proactive communication, operational excellence, and collaboration across the organization. Working alongside the Private Banker, this role advocates for clients and coordinates with internal partners to deliver thoughtful, timely, and comprehensive financial solutions.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Concierge Client Experience

- Deliver a highly personalized, concierge-level experience for Private Banking clients through every interaction.

- Serve as a trusted point of contact, responding promptly and professionally to customer requests.

- Anticipate client needs and proactively coordinate solutions with internal partners.

- Build meaningful relationships that reinforce Hills Bank's commitment to personalized service.

- Ensure every client interaction demonstrates Care, Connection and Trust.

Client Onboarding Experience

- Coordinate and deliver an exceptional onboarding experience for every new Private Banking client.

- Prepare account documentation and ensure accuracy and compliance throughout the onboarding process.

- Coordinate account openings, digital banking enrollment, debit cards, checks, wire services and other banking services.

- Conduct proactive follow-up to confirm clients can access and use the services they need to make Hills Bank a central and convenient financial partner.

Client Retention & Relationship Support

- Support Private Bankers in developing deep client relationships.

- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and improve client convenience.

- Assist with annual relationship reviews and ongoing client service initiatives.

- Track client follow-up activities and ensure all commitments are completed accurately and on time.

- Help create memorable client experiences through personalized touches and relationship-building initiatives.

Operational Excellence

- Provide administrative and operational support to Private Bankers.

- Coordinate documentation, loan support, deposit operations, account maintenance and service requests.

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.

- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.

- Assist with reporting, pipeline management, scheduling and workflow coordination.

- Continually identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance client experience.

Collaboration and Teamwork

- Partner closely with Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Treasury Management, Mortgage, Retail Banking, Trust, Operations and Compliance Teams.

- Serve as a resource to internal partners by helping coordinate Private Banking services and ensuring timely communication.

- Foster a collaborative "One Hills Bank" approach that aligns internal partners around the client's best interests.

- Support business development efforts through exceptional service and relationship management.

EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications

- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant banking or client-service experience will be considered.

- Three or more years of banking, wealth management, client service, or financial services preferred.

- Working knowledge of deposit products, lending, digital banking services, and banking operations.

- Experience supporting high-net-worth or relationship-focused clients is preferred.
