The Opportunity

Were seeking an experienced, driven Parts Manager to lead our parts department and grow it into a top-performing profit center. Youll own inventory, gross, and the customer experience for both our service department and wholesale/retail customers. This is a real leadership role with autonomy and accountability — we expect you to build a sharp team, run a disciplined operation, and grow gross profit month over month.

What Youll Do

- Lead, hire, train, schedule, and develop a high-performing parts team — counter, warehouse, and wholesale

- Own parts inventory: maintain the right mix and depth, control aging and obsolescence, and hit days-supply and turn targets

- Drive parts gross profit through smart pricing matrices, fill rates, and minimal stock-outs

- Keep the service department supplied so technicians are never waiting on parts

- Grow wholesale and retail parts business and build strong customer and vendor relationships

- Manage purchasing, stock orders, special orders, and returns to protect cash and gross

- Run regular cycle counts and an accurate annual physical inventory with minimal variance

- Monitor and act on key metrics: gross, turns, fill rate, obsolescence, and emergency purchases

- Set the standard for accuracy, urgency, and customer service across the department

- Partner with the service and sales leaders to keep fixed operations running smoothly

- Grow parts gross profit month over month while controlling obsolescence

- Hit inventory turn and days-supply targets with a clean, well-managed stock

- High service fill rate — technicians are rarely waiting on parts

- Low obsolescence and aged inventory through disciplined ordering and returns

- Accurate inventory with minimal physical-count variance

- Build and retain a sharp, accountable, customer-focused parts team

What Were Looking For

- Automotive parts management experience required

- Proven track record of growing parts gross and controlling inventory and obsolescence

- Strong knowledge of inventory management, pricing matrices, and DMS parts systems

- Excellent leadership, organization, and team-development skills

- Strong vendor, wholesale, and customer relationship skills

- Clean driving record and background
