The Systems Engineer will provide technical and programmatic support to the Chief Architect ( CHARC ) team, enabling disciplined requirements management, network architecture modeling, and upcoming verification and validation ( V & V ) activities. This role will manage architecture views and model artifacts, coordinate systems-of-systems interfaces, and drive knowledge management for architecture products across teams. The position also supports Agile planning and backlog execution in Jira or Confluence, and assists leadership with change management, communications, and strategy execution.

You Have:

- 3+ years of experience with systems engineering in DoD or government IT systems, including requirements, interfaces, and documentation
- Experience with network architecture concepts and tools
- Experience using Confluence, Git, GitLab, or SharePoint
- Experience with Jira or Confluence for backlog management, reporting, and governance
- Experience using markdown, docs as code, or digital engineering tools to manage programmatic documentation
- Experience coordinating across cross-functional engineering teams and external stakeholders
- Experience supporting leadership communications, change management, or strategy rollouts
- Ability to produce and manage architecture viewpoints
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Mathematics, or Physical Science

Nice If You Have:

- Experience with Unified Architecture Framework ( UAF ) , C4 views, SysML, or Cameo Systems Modeler
- Experience with Requirements Management Plans ( RQMPs ) , Architecture Decision Records ( ADRs ) , and Systems Engineering Plan ( SEP ) workflows
- Experience with the PMW 160 or 110 tactical networks ecosystem, POCs, and stakeholder groups to accelerate coordination
- Experience supporting V&V planning and test artifact development
- Experience with Agile met rics, dashboards, and backlog triage across multiple product lines
- Ability to use systems-of-systems thinking
- Ability to map operational workflows to technical interfaces and dependencies
- Possession of strong organizational and knowledge management skills
- Possession of strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
