Leaf Processing Operator

About the Job

We are looking for a Leaf Processing Operator who will be responsible for leaf prizing process, operating and monitoring leaf processing equipment while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards. The role plays a key part in supporting efficient production, minimizing machine downtime, and maintaining a safe and organized working environment.

What will you actually do?

- Check and examine leaf packaging materials before packaging to ensure they meet company quality standards.

- Monitor and control the pressing machine daily to meet daily and weekly production schedules.

- Complete machine and equipment checklists every day and report abnormalities promptly.

- Monitor, analyze, and reduce machine downtime to maintain production efficiency.

- Perform minor maintenance and basic troubleshooting on assigned machines and equipment.

- Support and carry out preventive maintenance activities according to the maintenance plan.

- Follow SOPs, work instructions, safety standards, and established operating procedures at all times.

- Manage and control spare parts required for machine operation and maintenance.

- Operate forklifts safely and responsibly in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.

- Troubleshoot and diagnose machine and equipment problems and coordinate repairs when required.

- Maintain machines and equipment to support product quality and operational efficiency.

- Maintain housekeeping to the highest standard in the working area.

- Demonstrate safe behavior at all times and immediately report work-related accidents, hazards, and unsafe conditions to the immediate supervisor.

- Support additional operational activities as assigned by the supervisor.

What skills are we looking for?

- Technical Diploma (10+3) or higher qualification.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in machine operation or a related manufacturing environment.

- Basic knowledge of mechanical and technical processes.

- Understanding of workplace safety practices and operating procedures.

- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a production environment.

- Strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.
