Job Description

The Conti-Line Operator role is responsible for the safety, quality and productivity of the machine. This position is also responsible for timely processing of customer orders and flow of material, contributing to process efficiency. In addition, this position will be responsible for correctly tagging the finished material and moving it to the next designation and stages as required.

Responsibilities

- Processes customer orders in a timely manner.
- Ensures the timely flow of material, contributing to process efficiency.
- Moves material to/from a machine with a forklift and/or crane in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.
- Oversees order change over on regular orders - setup machines (offline).
- Machine troubleshooting.
- Responsible for product quality.
- Other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience

- At least one year of manufacturing experience
- Complete knowledge of all functions of machine operation
- Computer knowledge – Oracle operating system
- Basic writing and math skills
- Must know how to read all measuring devices
- Knows hazard communication and hazard energy procedures
- Ability to lead by example, coach and train in basic functions of machine set up and operation
- Ability to make quality decisions for minor defects and proper tooling needed for set ups
- Must understand the safety training and procedures manuals
- Ability to perform all required quality checks and surface inspection of material
- At least 6 months of previous material handling experience or equivalent knowledge
- Forklift and/or crane license
- Required OSHA safety training provided
- Must be available to work on any shift or shift rotation as needed by the company
