The HR Solutions Center Specialist provides support and case management services to customers (employee and managers). This role serves as the main contact and subject matter expert of employee Benefits Administration or Leave of Absence processes, ensuring compliance all federal/state regulations and with Bright Horizons policies. The Specialist is responsible for building strong relationships between the HR Solutions Center and the relevant Center(s) of Excellence.
This is a Remote position available in the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer centric, accurate, and efficient resolution of issues and inquiries through multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, chat, case management). Serves as the escalation point for HR Service Center staff for complex issues
- Resolves benefit or LOA related events in Workday as the primary focus; secondarily proactively reviews and resolve tickets as time permits in One Support as it relates to the domain
- Performs complex administrative transactions, participates as actor in workflows, audits and in some cases, data maintenance of HR Data
- In partnership with the HRIS Team, Specialist will engage with external systems vendors or service providers in integration related issues, data audits or other complex problems between organizations
- Completes accurate and actionable case documentation in the Case Management tool
- Continually utilizes knowledge management tools and contributes new, revised or updated information to maintain accuracy and consistency in knowledge in support of customers
- Ensure that all Bright Horizons' policies and procedures are followed and that employees are treated fairly in line with policies and our HEART Principles
- Supports peers in the Solutions Center by sharing knowledge, information, and best practices
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years of customer service experience
- Bachelor's Degree (3 years of additional experience would be considered in lieu of the applicable degree)

Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years experience partnering with third party vendor for benefit and/or LOA administration
- Working knowledge of SaaS-based HR/Recruiting/Payroll/Time & Attendance solutions (Workday, CSOD, Workforce Solutions)
- Bi-lingual
- Broad benefits and/or leave of absence administration experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal leave regulations and policies. and successfully able to apply to cases in order to resolve.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
- Exhibit patience, empathy, and positivity.
- Have strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Comp ensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $54,000 – $70,000 annually. T he pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

Also, depending on hire date and subject to applicable eligibility requirements and accrual schedules, new employees in this role receive up to: 9 paid holidays annually; 40 hours of sick time per year based on full-time schedule, and 80 hours of vacation time per year based on full-time schedule (vacation time may be used for sick leave purposes under any applicable state or local sick or safe time law).
