About this role

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Co-op to join our Research & Development Quality Assurance team, supporting our Chromatography and Quality laboratory teams through daily analytical and quality testing.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with chromatography, brewing science, fermentation analysis, and laboratory operations in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment. The Co-op will work closely with experienced scientists and quality professionals and receive regular guidance to support learning and professional growth.

This position is part of our 6-month Co-op Program, running from January 4, 2027, through June 25, 2027. This role is fully onsite at our Boston Brewery location in Jamaica Plain, MA, with team members expected to work five days per week on onsite.

Required Qualifications

- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Forensic Science, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Brewing, or a related scientific discipline
- Must continue to be enrolled in school after the completion of the co-op
- Previous co-op experience or coursework involving wet laboratory techniques is required
- Prior experience with gas chromatography (GC) and/or liquid chromatography (LC) is required
- Excellent organizational skills, time management abilities, and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
