About this role
The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ordering, receiving, and stocking inventory at medical centers with minimal disruption to patients and staff;
- Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships and open lines of communication with all administrative and center staff;
- Communicating with center and Materials Management Department staff regarding backorders and order discrepancies;
- Maintaining the center inventory database;
- Ensuring inventory and supplies are adequate for center operations;
- Traveling to multiple centers as directed;
- Operating, using, and maintaining medical and office equipment as trained.
Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Employee must be 18 years of age or older;
- High school graduate or equivalent;
- Knowledge of medical supplies a plus;
- Experience in purchasing, inventory, or related business environment preferred;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Strong computer and analytical skills;
- Ability to prioritize and multitask;
- Ability to lift moderate to heavy items (25 to 50 pounds);
- Ability to unpack, move, and lift boxes required;
- Ability to travel and provide own transportation.
Salary Range: $20.00 – $23.00 , depending on experience.
