The Opportunity
As VBS Operational Excellence Coordinator, you will play a key role in driving the identification, analysis, coordination, and implementation of process improvements across operational workflows and interfaces. Working closely with affected departments, you will help increase efficiency, transparency, quality, and standardization in day-to-day operations while supporting the sustainable embedding of improvements.

In this hands-on role, you will be directly involved in process mapping, analysis, workshops, implementation of measures and follow-up on results, contributing to continuous improvement within clearly defined structures and objectives.

What You'll Be Doing

- Support the analysis of existing processes, workflows, and interfaces to identify optimization opportunities
- Collect, document, and visualize current-state processes in production, administration, or related areas
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, duplicate work, waiting times, and interface issues
- Gather and analyze process data and KPIs from various sources, including Excel, ERP systems, and manual records
- Contribute to fact-based root cause analyses using methods such as 5-Why, Ishikawa, and Pareto
- Prepare clear and actionable analysis results for relevant stakeholders and departments
- Coordinate action plans and sub-projects to improve processes, standards, and workflows
- Track implementation progress, follow up on open actions, and escalate delays when needed
- Support the development and introduction of standards, work instructions, visualizations, and best practices
- Facilitate and support workshops, CI sessions, problem-solving meetings, and working groups
- Document workshop outcomes, action items, decisions, and progress in a structured way
- Collaborate closely with employees, team leaders, specialist functions, and internal or external partners
- Support the practical implementation of improvement measures directly on site
- Contribute to the communication of changes, feedback collection, and sustainable embedding of improvements
- Support the application of continuous improvement methods such as VBS, visual management, and 5S

What You'll Bring

- State-certified technician, ideally with a focus on operations, production, or industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
- 5+ years of professional experience in Operational Excellence, process management, lean management, or a related industrial/business

environment
- Strong understanding of operational processes, continuous improvement, and standardization
- Ability to work independently within defined objectives and framework conditions, with sound judgment in prioritizing and implementing measures
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders
- Ability to technically guide, support, and coordinate employees during improvement activities, projects, and standardization efforts
- Structured, hands-on, and solution-oriented working style
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive sustainable implementation in a practical environment
