Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Senior Manager, Omnichannel Strategy & Planning. This is a fully remote position.

As a Senior Manager, Omnichannel Strategy & Planning, this role serves as the strategic subject matter expert responsible for leading omnichannel strategy, planning, and investment strategy across the Lactalis US Yogurt portfolio. This role translates brand and business priorities into integrated omnichannel strategies and activation plans across seven brands and multiple retail customers.

The role includes leading the strategic planning framework and investment approach for more than $80MM in annual omnichannel investment, establishing priorities, methodologies, and recommendations that optimize resources and drive portfolio growth. The Senior Manager serves as a strategic advisor to senior Sales, Marketing, Category, and Omnichannel leadership and provides strategic direction to cross-functional teams, agency partners, and retail media networks.

The role requires expertise across shopper marketing, retail media, customer strategy, and media planning, as well as the ability to solve complex business and investment challenges through data, insights, and cross-functional collaboration.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

Omnichannel Strategy & Portfolio Planning

- Develop and lead the omnichannel strategy and planning framework across the seven-brand Lactalis US Yogurt portfolio, translating portfolio priorities into retailer-specific growth strategies and integrated customer plans.
- Lead omnichannel activation briefings, translating business and brand priorities into clear strategic direction for media, shopper and activation partners.
- Identify opportunities, gaps and risks across customers and channels and develop recommendations to optimize omnichannel investment and drive portfolio growth.

Strategic Integration Across Brand, Customer & Commercial Teams

- Serve as the primary omnichannel strategy partner to Brand Marketing, Category Leadership, Sales and Omni Activation teams, connecting portfolio, brand and customer priorities.
- Lead cross-functional omnichannel strategies and provide expert recommendations for brand innovation, customer initiatives and high-priority business opportunities.
- Influence stakeholders to align priorities, resolve competing business needs and drive strategic outcomes.

Omnichannel Investment Strategy & Budget Leadership

- Lead the strategic allocation and deployment of $80MM+ in annual omnichannel investment across seven brands, balancing brand, customer and business priorities to maximize growth and return on investment.
- Evaluate investment performance, opportunities, risks and trade-offs to optimize resource allocation and recommend in-year investment changes.
- Lead accurate omnichannel budget tracking and consolidation by retailer, program and tactic, providing timely inputs and variance insights to Finance for mid-month and month-end financial reporting.
- Own omnichannel volume forecasting and provide risks, opportunities and recommendations for Demand Review, Monthly Business Reviews and senior leadership discussions.

Retail Media & Agency Strategy

- Lead annual retail media planning and media briefs, setting strategic priorities, investment considerations, innovation opportunities and activation requirements across the Yogurt portfolio.
- Provide strategic direction and omnichannel expertise to support creative briefs and execution as needed.
- Lead and participate in in-year agency touchpoints with the Activation team, including Quarterly Agency Activation Briefings and agency-led Quarterly Business Reviews, using performance insights to optimize plans and inform future investment.
- Represent Yogurt Omnichannel in Retail Media Network JBP and commitment negotiations, leveraging portfolio scale to maximize investment value, innovation and strategic partnership opportunities.

Measurement, Analytics & Strategic Insights

- Define key business questions, measurement priorities and analytical requirements to evaluate omnichannel effectiveness, incrementality and ROI and inform future investment decisions.
- Lead the Omnichannel team’s participation in media impact studies, marketing mix modeling, shopper research and other strategic measurement initiatives.
- Translate performance data, research and insights into actionable recommendations that identify optimization opportunities and inform future strategy and investment.

Organizational Leadership & Capability Development

- Lead, develop and coach two Omnichannel Planning team members, establishing clear objectives, priorities, development plans and performance expectations.
- Establish and evolve omnichannel planning tools, processes, standards and ways of working to improve organizational effectiveness and scalability.
- Develop and share omnichannel best practices and thought leadership across the Lactalis organization.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

- The incumbent is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of two Analysts, Omnichannel Planning employees in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

WORK CONDITIONS

- Travel is required up to 25% monthly.

Requirements

From your STORY to ours

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

- Bachelor’s degree required; degree concentration in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in brand marketing, shopper marketing, or media agency environments required.
- Demonstrated experience leading integrated omnichannel strategies and activation across multiple retailers and customer environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in shopper marketing, retail media planning and media brief development.
- SME-level expertise in omnichannel strategy, shopper marketing, retail media and customer activation, with strong understanding of the digital commerce and retail landscape.
- Strong knowledge of digital shelf best practices, ecommerce KPIs, retail media platforms and the consumer/shopper path to purchase.
- Strong financial and business acumen, with experience managing significant marketing investment, forecasting business impact and evaluating investment performance.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data, research and business challenges into actionable strategies and recommendations with limited guidance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead agency relationships and influence senior leaders, cross-functional teams and external partners through strong communication and presentation skills.

Salary Description
$125k - $140k annually + bonus
