About this role

In this position...
Analyst, Supply Chain Systems Digital Adoption & User Enablement. This role prepares buyers and suppliers for new supply chain systems and process changes, supports them through go-live, and keeps them learning afterward. It draws on hands-on buyer experience and works across Purchasing, IT, Learning & Development, and Finance.

What you'll do
Join Ford's Global Supply Chain Systems organization and serve as the bridge between purchasing, IT, and the people who use our systems every day. You will help implement change, ready users for what's coming, and stay alongside current users so they keep learning and getting value from our tools. You will also work directly with suppliers to deliver training and clear communication. This role is ideal for a supply chain professional with hands-on buyer experience who understands the purchasing process end to end and can translate business needs into practical, user-friendly enablement. You will collaborate with IT, Learning & Development, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance, and global business teams.

Help implement change and prepare users for what's next
* Partner with IT and business teams to support implementation of system releases, enhancements, and purchasing process changes.
* Use your buyer experience to assess how changes affect day-to-day buyer workflows, and flag impacts and risks early.
* Plan and execute user readiness: impact assessments, communications, training, and go-live support.
* Validate readiness, gather user feedback, and use support trends to resolve adoption barriers.

Keep current users learning and succeeding
* Provide ongoing coaching, office hours, and refresher sessions so existing users build confidence and proficiency over time.
* Develop and maintain training, job aids, quick-reference guides, and self-service materials with subject matter experts.
* Support virtual and in-person training for buyers and global supply chain users.
* Track training completion and adoption metrics and act on trends to reduce repeat support inquiries.

Enable and communicate with suppliers
* Deliver supplier training, guidance, and communications for new systems, processes, and requirements.
* Support supplier onboarding and ongoing engagement on sourcing, purchase orders, and related processes.
* Gather supplier feedback and work with Purchasing and IT to improve the supplier experience.

Lead communications and engagement
* Develop communications for system launches, enhancements, and ongoing operations.
* Manage global audiences, distribution lists, and communication channels for employees and suppliers.
* Prepare leadership updates, program status reports, and summaries of risks.
* Support engagement activities such as newsletters, podcasts, and campaigns.
* Connect purchasing expertise with digital change
* Apply purchasing and sourcing knowledge to system releases and business process changes.
* Partner with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance, and IT to align systems with business requirements.
* Ensure system changes are reflected in purchasing policies, procedures, and user materials.
* Identify opportunities to simplify workflows through digital tools, automation, and AI.
* Represent the workstream in governance, readiness reviews, and stakeholder forums, and support additional priorities as business needs evolve.

What success looks like
* Users are prepared before each change and confident on day one.
* Current users keep learning and use systems effectively, with fewer repeat support requests.
* Suppliers are trained, informed, and able to transact with Ford smoothly.
* Communications and training are accurate, timely, and reach the right audiences.
* Leaders have clear visibility into readiness, adoption, risks, and support needs.
* Digital, automation, or AI improvements simplify workflows and increase efficiency.

You'll have...
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
* 3+ years of supply chain experience, including hands-on experience working as a buyer (production, program, commodity, or indirect).
* Solid understanding of the purchasing process: sourcing, supplier onboarding, purchase order management, and supplier engagement.
* Experience with enterprise procurement, supply chain, or ERP systems such as SAP or Ariba.
* Experience or strong interest in training, coaching, communications, or change management, including supporting users through system or process change.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with comfort training and presenting to both internal users and external suppliers.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of AI and automation and how they can be applied to business processes.

Even better, you may have...
* Experience supporting or leading a system implementation, rollout, or process change as a business user or super user.
* Experience developing training content or delivering training to suppliers.
* Knowledge of end-to-end sourcing, including cost studies, supplier cost analysis, or business case development.
* Experience with Sourcing Workplan Tool (SWT), Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
* Broader Supply Chain experience across Supplier Technical Assistance, Materials Planning & Logistics, Product Development, Finance, or related Purchasing functions.
