Saputo Dairy Products Canada is seeking an enthusiastic, results-oriented Distribution Supervisor to join our team. Reporting to the Distribution leadership team, this role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing distribution and logistics operations to ensure service excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will analyze key aspects of transportation, warehousing, and distribution performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective solutions that enhance productivity, reliability, and cost efficiency. This position will also be responsible for developing and maintaining operational monitoring systems, performance metrics, and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, the Distribution Supervisor will help drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and promote a safe, efficient, and customer-focused distribution network.
Qualifications
You are a great fit for this role if you possess:
- Experience in distribution, transportation, or logistics operations, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
- A solid understanding of distribution operations, fleet management, transportation regulations, and company policies and procedures.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other business systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a high attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Sound decision-making skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- A self-motivated, results-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness and ability to travel within Alberta as required.
- A demonstrated record of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and dependability.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including coaching, team development, and driving operational excellence.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, challenge the status quo, and implement innovative solutions.
The successful candidate will be a proactive and creative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. They will demonstrate the ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution, effectively manage multiple priorities, and inspire teams to achieve operational and service excellence.
Salary Range: $80,130 – $105,170 annually
Salary will be determined based on relevant experience, education, qualifications, skills, and training.
