Overview
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Under general supervision, but not direct supervision, provides the necessary top quality images of requested exams for diagnostic purposes and do related work as required, will rotate on stand-by and weekend schedule as required for Dept. coverage
- Taking a patient centered approach, provide scanning services within professional standards and with excellent customer service.
- Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
- Position requires stamina transporting patients to/from the hospital bed to the Radiology Department.

Qualifications
- EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Current certificate of CRT (R) and ARRT (R), required.
- Minimum 6 months experience working as CT Technologist or completed CT internship / crossed training at GMC facility.
- Current BLS (AHA), required.
- Venipuncture Certification, required or within 1 year of hire.
